New Poetry.

I said new, but I said nothing about it being any good.

I’M DYING AND YOU’RE CLUELESS…
I watch as you hold her time after time
Before you finally notice my staring eyes.
You looks so confused as I wipe away tears,
You just don’t realize that this was my fear.
You have her, you love her, you don’t need me.
My suspicions of “us” were all in my dreams.
And as you wave at me and I return it to you
I’m dying inside and you don’t have a clue.
So you smile as I accept your embrace
And I can’t help but wonder how your kiss would taste.
But I’ll never know cause you’ll never share
These feelings for you I unwillingly bare.

NAMELESS
Poetry and love are far more alike
Than most people notice in everyday life.
The ink flows from my pin as the blood from my heart
And I’ll likely tear this up, like you tore out my heart.
And if I set it ablaze, then it’ll burn like my cheeks
When I see you at church three times a week.
This poem really sucks, but hell, what’s new?
It didn’t come out right, but words never do.
One way or the other it’s not for your reading,
You’d just laugh at it, like you did at my feelings.
